She rocks..

I dunno how much room we'll have in the hotel, but anyone else is more than welcome to join the festivities so long as you have a place to stay... whatever..

Jody and Melissa, you guys absolutely need to come with us. Amanda I hope you can make it. I like the little tradition we have started and I hope we can keep it up.

Also Jody and Melissa we need your address information to send you a wedding invitation. Jodie is fussing at me about it....

Just give me a call and let me know what is up with the 26th...

    <lj:music>Devin Davis - Canons at the Courthouse</lj:music>

Ok, school sucks a whole ton of butthole right now. My biochem teacher is an evil whore so i'll be cramming for the exam tomorrow till about twelve or so tonight. The class average on the first test was less than a 40 (my grade was a 64) and the average on the last test was 58 (my grade 70). I'm thinking there will be a curve the size of Texas on the final average considering the final is comprehensive and 40% of the grade.

Anyway, on to more interesting things (at least to me).

I really want to write an album or something perhaps a cross country online collaboration? I think it would be a fun time. Being that just about anyone can record music on a computer nowadays I say why the hell not. It would probably be pretty easy too. What do ya think?

We totally got first pick in the upcoming litter of great danes! I'm so freakin psyched about finally being able to have a dog (much less a great dane) it's retarded. I haven't had a pet since I lived in my folk's (unless you count Jody or Mason on those heavy drinking nights). The new place is working out pretty well so far. It's old so there are a lot of creaks and thuds in the night, but i'm slowly getting used to it.

Anyone have a bass they want to get rid of for super cheap? I've been elected for bass in a faux hXc band and I need one.

Jody, do you still have my bobo swede jacket with the weird cotton lining and crap all over it? Not that I want it back or anything I was just wondering what happened to it, because the last time I remember seeing it was the night you got really drunk at Albert's and tried to sleep in the backseat of the Maxima.

I hope all is well with everyone, or becomes well soon.

Music: Devin Davis - Lonely People of the World Unite!! You should all listen to this album. It's one of my favorites right now. It's really catchy pop/garage/retro/mostly pop rock. Super good stuff!

Jody: Call me when/before you come down that way we can arrange for everyone to meet up and destroy N.O. Still the same old number (601) 590-0437

Summing up Jodie's post that accidentally got posted as a comment:

It's been a hectic time here lately. Things are good. We're moving closer to downtown and it should be good.

We're also getting a freakin great dane! We're trying to figure out a name for him (help us out), but we should have a puppy in middle of march. Standing on his hind legs he'll be between 6 and 6.5 feet and top out at about 160 lb. A big ol baby, we're both really excited.
We're going to see the Sword in N.O. on the first. It's gonna be bad to the ass. I'm psyched that Jody's coming down and about the fun times to be had in N.O.

Anyway, if your into metal shreddery you should listen to John5 He's the former guitarist for Marilyn Manson I know you're thinking, "there's no way anyone with any musical relation to Marilyn Manson can be talented." but he's damn good, kind of along the lines of buckethead, doesn't have quite the chops but the music isn't pretentious guitar wankery like most of bucketheads. Of course it's way more awesome to SEE them play, but the auditory aspect of it isn't shabby...

Off to play some subspace and neglect the homework!!!

This weekend was pretty good. Sat. I went to see High on Fire, Mono, The Panthers, and Colisseum... Mono was probably the best band. They play a weird sort of ambient/noise rock, pretty good stuff. High on Fire put in some serious work. Bad freaking ass.
